Wonderful – more vampire wars, more emotional conflicts and Dawn’s position become more precarious. The only thing missing was…romance. Okay, we experience a few cuddles and there were a couple of ‘only for you’ sentences, but I really missed the love.
We saw the final twist coming a mile off so it lost much of its impact, and I was a little dubious about the very last scene (fully expecting to hear about their demise), but the dream connection was a great binding tool, I heart Victor and am glad the mother-son duo managed to find a way to keep him in the loop.
‘Dying’ to read the final instalment.
