Chocolate overload

My daughter’s class are partaking in a project called the Enterprise Scheme.  It involves them forming a business plan, marketing, manufacture, sales projections, etc.  This morning she informs me she HAS to make 4 cakes based on the business model she created.  OK.  I’m super mum.  After school we went shopping and, rushing back and forth between helping my son with his homework, cooking dinner and helping my daughter, we made, frosted and decorated 4 stunning chocolate cakes.  Of course, I then had a problem – how the heck am I to transport 4 large cakes, safely, to her school for 9 in the morning, when I have to be at work by 8:30?  Ok, calm, breathe deep, first problems first; I managed, somehow, to cram 3 cakes using cake rings and cardboard, into a recycling box.  I called her in and explained the fourth cake is being a bit of a problem and can she think of a solution?  her reply: ‘but I don’t need to take them in until Thursday Mum’!Go to fullsize image

I’m eating that f*&”ing last cake as soon as I clean the kitchen…

About Bea Turvey apprentice author and witch

I am a wild-haired author who cannot stop writing. The writing process is not a task for me. It is an extension of myself. When I write, I lose myself as easily as if I slipped into the story for a swim. Writing became a serious part of my life in Decmber of 2009. Unless you're reading this in 2017 it wasn't that long ago, and the bug hit me hard and fast. My first novel, Banished, was published in March 2010 and is available at http://www.amazon.co.uk/Banished-ebook/dp/B008PGM4TQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1361913026&sr=8-1. If you read it, or anything else I've written, I hope you'll post a review and let me know why you liked it - or even why not!
